The Saudi Olympic Academy Organize The Olympic Studies For The First Time Ever In KSA

The Saudi Olympic Academy launched the Olympic Studies diploma that is introduced in cooperation with the Saudi Olympic Academy. The diploma program included the participation of 100 students from the Saudi Olympic & Paralympic Committee and including its initiatives. The diploma sessions are held at Prince Faisal Bin Fahad Olympic Complex for eight weeks. The diploma is presented by a selection of international lecturers from the International Olympic Academy.

TROJENA Won The Bid To Host The Winter Asian Games 2029

TROJENA won the bid to host the Winter Asian Games 2029 during the general assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia held in Cambodia, which makes it the first west Asian City to host the AWG after declaring The Kingdom’s wish to host the Games in last August.

Riyadh To Host The World Combat Games In October 2023

The Supreme Organizing Committee of the World Combat Games titled “Riyadh 2023” announced the date for the World Combat Games (WCG) to kick off in Riyadh from 22 October to 2 November 2023. HH President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC), Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, and Mr Ivo Virani, President of the Association of International Federations, signed the contract to host Riyadh last April.

SOPC Announces The Results Of The Operational Evaluation Of The Federations Support Strategy

The Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC) announces the results of the operational evaluation of the Federations’ Support Strategy for the period from May to August 2022 after its launch last November with a budget estimated at 2,600,000,000SR as one of the initiatives of the Quality of Life Program aimed at making a developmental shift in the Saudi sports federations. The initial evaluation phase included 54 sports federations, providing initial financial support to all federations to accelerate the strategy’s objectives.

Team Saudi Ended Its Participation In The 5th Islamic Solidarity Games Held

With the participation of 4,000 male and female athletes representing 54 Islamic countries. The Kingdom brought home 24 medals and placed 15th in the general rankings. The Saidi national weightlifting team deliver the highest share of medals, reaching 11 medals (1 gold, six silver and four bronze).
