Yassin Prepares To Compete In Tokyo 2020 Athletics

The Saudi athletics team player, runner Mazen Al-Yassin, will launch his participation in the Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020) when he is in the second group of the 400-meter race at 4:30 am tomorrow, Sunday, Kingdom time, at the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo.

Mazen is participating in the race alongside players from Colombia, Belgium, Yemen, Switzerland, South Africa and the United States.

Al-Yassin completed his last training in Tokyo in the presence of HRH, the President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC), and the Head of the Saudi Mission, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal.

It is noteworthy that Al-Yassin arrived in Tokyo at the end of last week after completing his preparatory camp in Spain.

HRH Alfaisal and, in the presence of HH, the Vice President, Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, received the President of the Philippine Olympic Committee, Mr. (Abraham Tolento), at the headquarters of the official Saudi mission in Tokyo.

The meeting discussed the participation of the Saudi and Philippine delegations in the Olympics and discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides in a way that serves the sports and youth of the two countries.
