SOPC approves new formation of the Shooting and Chess Federations
The Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC) announced the approval of the formation of the new board of directors of the Saudi Shooting Federation, headed by HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal.
The new Board of Directors of the Federation included HRH Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Musaed Al Saud as Vice-President, and the membership of Brigadier General Khalid bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khaitan, Professor Raed bin Abdullah bin Ibrahim bin Ahmed, Colonel Imad bin Saud Abu Haimed, and Professor Sheikha Bint Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Jubeir, and Mr Saeed bin Moqbel bin Diab Al-Mutairi (representative of the Athletes Committee).
In addition, the new formation of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Chess Federation, headed by Professor Abdullah bin Salem Al-Wahshi, and the membership of HE the Chancellor, Mr Turki bin Abdul Mohsen Al Sheikh, Mr Othman bin Tariq Al-Qasabi, Mr Ali bin Abdullah Al-Zaid, Mr Yasser bin Mutlaq Al-Otaibi, and Ms Amani bint Yahya Al-Ansari, And Engineer Musa bin Bandar Al-Thaili, and Engineer Abdulaziz bin Fahd bin Sultan.
The decisions included the appointment of a member of the Board of Directors of the SOPC, Mr Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Muqairn, as President of the Saudi Paralympic Swimming Federation, and Mr Abdul Rahim bin Abdul Rahman Al-Sheikh as President of the Saudi Paralympic Athletics Federation, and Mr Khalid bin Suleiman Al-Fuhaid as President of the Saudi Federation for Visual Impairments, and Mr Khalid bin Masoud Al-Hajri, President of the Saudi Federation for Sitting and Chair Games, and Mr Mohsen bin Ahmed Al Ismail, President of the Saudi Federation for Boccia.
