“Saudi Cup” race ceremony held under the patronage of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman
Last Saturday, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, sponsored the “Saudi Cup” race ceremony at King Abdulaziz Equestrian Square in Riyadh.
Upon his arrival, HRH the Crown Prince was welcomed by HRH Prince Bandar bin Khalid Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Equestrian Authority, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Horse Racing Club, and HRH Prince Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Member of the Board of Directors of the Horse Racing Club and Chairman of the Technical Committees.
He arrived with HRH the Crown Prince, HRH Prince Turki bin Muhammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers, HRH Prince Muhammad bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports, and HRH Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard.
The royal anthem was played before the start of the race.
After that, the horses participating in the race moved from the saddling arena to the parade arena in a two-turn parade before the start of the race, and all the riders participating in the race were present in the parade arena.
After that, the eighth round of the Saudi Cup began and HRH the Crown Prince and went to the delivery platform.
At the end, HRH the Crown Prince, congratulated Hero Race Company Limited, the owner of the horse Panthalassa, as he lifted the Saudi Cup as a race winner.
HRH, the Crown Prince, also congratulated the horse trainer, Yoshito Yahagi, and the jockey, Yutaka Yoshida, who received a horse model and a cavalry helmet.
