Prince Fahd Bin Jalawi Arrives In Tokyo
HH Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, Vice President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC) and Deputy Head of the Kingdom’s delegation participating in the 32nd Summer Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020), arrived in the Japanese capital, Tokyo today to view all the equipment and preparations of the Saudi teams before the launch of their Olympic participation over the next few days.
His Highness was accompanied on the arrival today by the Saudi judo player Suleiman Hammad (73 kg), his colleague Tahani Al-Qahtani (78 kg), and the Saudi weightlifting team players Mahmoud Al Hamid (73 kg) and Siraj Al Salim (61 kg), in addition to members of the medical staff headed by Dr Saleh Al Harthy.
On the other hand, the Saudi U-23 football team performed a training session that included several tactical, technical and physical sentences, and coach Saad Al-Shehri concluded it with a manoeuvre in the middle of the field, through which he focused on the defensive side, especially in cross balls.
After his arrival, Prince Fahd bin Jalawi confirmed that the Olympic Committee, in coordination with the participating sports federations, has completed preparations for this great event. All arrangements have been conducted regarding housing, transportation, and training venues for the male and female players qualified for the Olympics, hoping that the Kingdom’s representatives will achieve the desired results in this participation.
