Prince Abdulaziz Attends OCA Executive Board Meeting In Uzbekistan

SAUDI ARABIA AND UZBAKESTAN NOCS SIGN MOU FOR SPORTS COOPERATION
APPROVE THE POSTPONEMENT OF HANGZOU ASIAN GAMES 2022 AND THE CANCELATION OF YOUTH ASIAN GAMES

HRH Prince Abdulaziz ALFAISAL signed a Memorandum of Understanding for sports cooperation with The National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan on the sidelines of HRH attendance of 77th OCA Executive Board meeting in Tashkent. Mr. Raja Randhir SINGH chaired the meeting, and attended by HH Vice president of SOPC Prince Fahad Bin Jalawi.

The meeting also approved the postponement of the Hangzhou Asian Games, which was to be held in September 2022, and decided to postpone the Games to be taking place next year Due to the consequences of Covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, the board as well approved the cancellation of the Youth Asian Games of 2022, which was originally scheduled to take place in Shantou, China.
