On Behalf Of HH Crown Prince, The Emir Of Makkah Province Crowns The Winners Of The 3rd Edition Of The Crown Prince Camel Festival
On behalf of HRH Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, HRH Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah region today awarded the winners on the closing day of the 3rd edition of the Crown Prince Camel Festival, which the Saudi Camel Federation at Taif Camel Racecourse organized.
The closing day witnessed the establishment of 4 runs of symbols for the Al-Hail and Zamoul category, with the participation of 93 mounts, and the distance of each run extended to 6 km. Al-Sailiya, and the reel “Joof” for the slogan of Prince Turki bin Muhammad bin Fahd, the victory in the third and fourth rounds, which are dedicated to symbols of tricks.

The current edition of the festival witnessed the recording of a new record in the Guinness Book of Records, as the most significant number of camels participating in camel festivals in the world. Seven thousand eight hundred seventy rides in the preliminary stage and 6973 in the final step.
The festival allocated financial prizes among the highest awards in sports races, with a total value of 53 million riyals, for which hundreds of the most famous local, Arab and international camel owners competed in the public runs of the festival.
