HH Fahd bin Jalawi crowns equestrian and cycling champions
HH Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, Vice-President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC), crowned the Saudi rider, Mashari Al-Harbi, with the title of the sixth round, the “Grand Prix half”, with a height of 1.45 meters, at the end of the Riyadh International Show Jumping Championship, which was held on the grounds of the Riyadh International Center For conferences and exhibitions, with the participation of 81 riders representing eight countries. This championship is the first show jumping championship to be held in Saudi Arabia in a closed field.
Al-Harbi succeeded in snatching the title of the half after recording a time of 35.61 seconds, while the Thai rider, Jakana Bourne, came second with 36.58 seconds, and the rider Saad Al-Ajmi came third with a time of 37.52 seconds.
HH also crowned Australian cyclist Logan Martin with the title of professional competitions in the first phase of the 2023 World Cup for Show Cycling, which was held at the Elite Sports Center Arena in the historic Diriyah, one of the six stations of the World Cup for Show Cycling, as part of the activities of the Diriyah Urban Festival in its second edition.
