Al Faisal Chairs The Saudi Delegation In Beijing

HRH prince Abdulaziz AlFaisal president of the Saudi Olympic & Paralympic Committee the participating delegation of Saudi Arabia in the Winter Olympics Beijing 2022, which is starting Tomorrow until the 20th of this February. The Kingdom is participating in this Olympics as the first participation by Team Saudi of Winter Sports Fayik Abdi marking the First participation of Saudi Athletes ever since the beginning of the Winter Olympics in 1924. qualifying for the competitions of the Winter Olympics in the Alpine Skiing. Abdi scored 131.03 points in five major competitions in a record period.

On this occasion, HRH Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki illustrated that all the support is being given to the Saudi Sport by King Salman and Crown Prince HRH Mohammed Bin Salman has enabled us to record such achievements as the Saudi participation in the Winter Olympic for the First time ever. He also affirmed that such achievements will be motivating all talents to achieve excellency in all international platforms and develop Saudi Sport in all different sports whishing best of luck for Fayik Abdi in the Games.

HRH added that the Saudi Participation for the first time ever in the history of the Kingdom as HRH wished all luck and success for Abdi to mark a special participation in Beijing.

The Saudi Delegation included HH Prince Fahad Bin Jalawi VP of the Saudi Olympic & Paralympic Committee, HRH Princess Reema bint Bandar Al Saud Board Member of SOPC and IOC Member, and Ms. Adwa Al Arifi Board Member of the SOPC.
