President of the SAOC, Prince Abbdulaziz bin Turki Alfaisal held a meeting with the ICO president dr.Thomas Bach in Lausanne,Swizerland the seat of the IOC. The meeting was held in the presence of HH, the vice president of the SAOC and the general secretary prince Fahad bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz and a member board of the SAOC and IOC, HRH princess Reema bint Bander bin Sultan Al Saud. In addition to board members of the SAOC, mr.Yasser Almisehal and ms.adwa AlArifi. The meeting discussed intensifying cooperation between the SAOC and the IOC in the field of sport events hosted in Saudi Arabia recently. In addition to reinforcing relations between each other with the aim of developing sport and the Olympic movement in KSA beside several joint subjects and programs.

The 25th General Assembly of the Federation of National Olympic Committees concluded its work, which lasted over the course of two days, on the Greek island of Crete. The assembly was in the presence of the SAOC president HRH prince Abdulaziz bin Turki AlFaisal. Moreover, AlFaisal has conducted several meetings on the margins of the ANOC assembly. He met with HH, Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al Thani. Prince Abdulaziz also met with Susanne Lyons, board chair of the USA Olympic committee and they discussed avenues of joint cooperation between the two committees. Prince Abdulaziz also received the president of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) mr. Spyros Capralos and the general secretary mr. Emmanuel Kolympadis. During the meeting, prince Abdulaziz congratulated them for the successful hosting of the ANOC meetings.
Al-Faisal Chairs the Saudi delegation at the ANOC meetings
HRH, prince Abdulaiz bin Turki Alfaisal chairs the Saudi delegation which participated in the work of the 25th Assembly of the ANOC on the island of Crete, Greece. the official delegation included HH, vice president and the general secretary of the SAOC prince Fahad bin Jalawi, and members of the board of directors mr. Yasser Almisehal and ms. Adwa Alarifi, in addition to seasons and events manager HRH princess Reham bint Saif Alsaud and the institutional communication director mr. Abdulaziz Albaqous. Elsewhere, regarding the ANOC meetings, HH prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Alfaisal and HH sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa president of the Bahraini Olympic committee have signed a memorandum of cooperation between the two committees on the island of Crete. This memorandum aims to implement several joint programs between the athletes of the two friendly countries.
Saudi Arabia concludes its participation in Tokyo 2020 with Hmadi's sliver medal
The Saudi national Karate team player Tariq Hamdi recorded a recent achievement for Saudi sport with a silver medal in the 75KG Karate competition in the 32nd Olympic games, which is concluding tomorrow in Tokyo, Japan. Hamdi got the silver medal due to the referee's decision in the final match against his Iranian opponent Sajjad. the result indicated that Hamdi had advanced over his Iranian opponent with a score of (4-1), until the entry of the medical team due to the Iranian player's faling after Hamdi's glancing blows. And then, The Turkish referee considered the score canceled and declared Hamdi as a silver medal winner.
Saudi Olympic celebrates the Olympic day
The SAOC has celebrated the Olympic day of 2021 on june the 23rd. 206 Olympic committees around the world have celebrated the anniversary of the IOC which were found in 1894. The celebration was in the presence of vice president of the SAOC prince Fahad bin Jalawi. The celebration occurred at the grand meeting hall, in the seat of the Olympic committee in price Faisal bin Fahad complex, Riyadh. Within this context, the Saudi Olympic has mounted an olympic exhibition at Alnakheel mall center. The exhibition included cultural and interactive activities in order to reinforce the Olympic movement's values and principles, (move-learn-explore). This gesture aimed to encourage the practice of sports from all groups of society. Moreover, the exhibition's visitors were received To mark this occasion, the Olympic committee's members exchanged souvenirs between each other.
Managing National Sports Federations
The Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee (SAOC) held its 2nd monthly virtual conference titled, “Managing National Sports Federations,” under the patronage of HRH Prince Abdulaziz ibn Turki Alfaisal, president of SAOC. The conference attracted the participation of guest speakers Kelly Fairweather, chief operating officer at the International Tennis Federation (ITF), and Florian Pasquet, national federations and sport senior associate at the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and the conference has witnessed the attendance of more than 100 sports officials and specialists.

The first virtual international forum of its kind hosted by the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee (SAOC) and organized by the World Taekwondo (WT) in cooperation with the Saudi Taekwondo Federation (STF) and the Taekwondo Humanitarian Foundation was launched on Friday for two days, under the title “Gender Equity and Women Leadership Forum.” The event which ran from Nov. 27-28 attracted more than 120,000 views on SAOC social media outlets throughout both days.
SAOC to inaugurate a new online platform to ease communication with athletes
. HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee (SAOC), held a virtual meeting with the Saudi Sport Federations presidents to discuss the federations activities and challenges during the COVID-19 crisis. The meeting was conducted in order to discuss the survey distributed among the federations to create a better understanding of the impact and effect of the crisis on Saudi sports.
